A Woodstove Floor
The Virginian bricks we bought are quite lovely. More so when they take the shape of a floor. Brian laid the bricks last Thursday. We think it came out fantastic and it greatly improved the poor little stove that now looks much grander standing on its very own brick floor.

Retta:I love pot belly stoves! They are excellent on heating the house and personally I think they have a load of character.
All this picture needs is a basket of newspaper and twigs and logs in the corner and I'll feel like I am home again. :)
Do you do much cooking on it or do you use it to keep the food warm?

Jessica:Hey Retta! I feel the same way you do! We LOVE our stove! Just wish the winter would get a little cooler! We plan on getting a wooden barrel to store the wood in.
When we have heartier cold weather and have to run the stove several days, I will cook on it, usually a stew or chili.
