Color Scheme

Since we will be having the siding up soon, I just wanted to post the basic color scheme we have in mind for the little house. I havent found the exact colors I will be going with yet, but the above photo gives an idea of what I am looking for. Our siding is T-111, not shiplap siding like our current house, but in our plans we hope to eventually have a 2nd story put on the little house, and perhaps upgrade the siding to shiplap at that point.

Lauire:Hi Jessica,
I have a little collection of historic colors from pittsburg paints, and I'm certain that collection is included. :)

Jessica:Hello Laurie! Thank you for stopping in!
May I ask where you find these paints and this collection?

Twilightmama:I love those colors, Jess...is that a dark grey or blue? Very nice! I love a house with a red door:) We have t-111 and the addition has vinyl. Someday we hope to replace all of it with wood, too:)

Laurie:Sorry it took me so long to get back, I forgot to check in. Let's see, here in Oregon Pittsburgh paints are carried in our Miller Paint store...let me look online here. This is their web address:

Argh! I was having the toughest time locating it, and figured out why...apparently they have a number of companies and this particular set is under their other brand. So here is a link: http://www.millerbrospaint.com/historic.htm
We got the small fandex, and on it they show recommendations, 3 colors on one swatch. They're really great!! I think you'd like them a lot.

Jessica:Thank you so much for going to the trouble of finding that link for me!! I love it when I can find an historic palette.
From the sample image off their site they look like they have some very nice colors as well as a good variety! I will definitely check them out!
Thanks again for the recommendation!
